Very Cute Top, But ... |

This top is very cute, but I cannot wear it because the breast area is VERY small!! I am a 40DD and had to give this and the purple one I also purchased to a friend who has smaller breasts and wears a 1X normally - and it looks adorable on her. I purchased my normal size of 2X and the fit was just fine except for the fact that the breast area is clearly designated with sparkles and a seam and the seam only came down to right ABOVE my nipples and made it look WAY too small - and me too big! - even though it fit fine in all other areas. And I believe that it was SO small that even if I had exchanged it for one size up it would not have looked right on my large chest. So, if you are small breasted, buy this top!! But if you are larger breasted, I would have to say this is not the top for you.

In the pic the blouse looks loose and about mid thigh in length-but it is actually form fitting and comes to about the belt line. You would think by ordering 3 sizes bigger that this would help-but it didn't!!! That's what was kind of sad; it is such a beautiful shirt. I will probably only be able to wear it underneath another top. My size is about a medium-large depending on the brand; but when I buy online orders I always tend to buy a couple sizes bigger, due to poor measurement sizes. They always seem to get that wrong no matter where you buy from. So for me I bought a 3X and I won't be able to wear it like the picture displaying it does; but it is still a beautiful shirt!!

Form fitting |

The picture does not show it well but there is glitter running across the breast area. Overall it looks nice.
One thing for women to note is that the piece is very form fitting, so even getting it in a few sizes larger will not have the effect portrayed in the picture. I'll probably use it like a cami when I want a little some slinky underneath my real shirt. The fabric feels even a bit more like lingerie than a shirt I normally wear.

I agree with others, buy a size up. I don't think the straps were positioned right or wide enough to cover up my bra strap, but it was fine because I wore it with a bolero shrug type of sweater anyways. I felt that the attached necklace wasn't quite right, it needed to be just a half inch longer on each side because it didn't drape the way it does in the photo. Then again, perhaps it's my cup size (42DDD).
The glitter adds a nice slightly-dressy-night-on-the-town look BUT you should always keep this stored in the bag it'll come in.....before you know it, everything in proximity is all glittered up.

I purchased this item in a size 2x since I read the reviews that this ran small! I usually wear a size 14/16 and have a larger chest. This size fit me perfect! I was very happy with this purchase.
